The Endocrine Society recommends testosterone therapy for men with confirmed hypogonadism, to correct symptoms of testosterone deficiency and to bring on and maintain secondary sex characteristics. That is why clinicians consider it. Sequel does not offer testosterone.

The Endocrine Society's guidance is to diagnose hypogonadism only when symptoms line up with consistently low testosterone, confirmed by repeat morning fasting tests, and then to look for the cause. This is diagnostic guidance; it does not endorse enclomiphene.
