Where care with Sequel begins
Sequel weight-loss care begins online. You share your health history in an intake, and a licensed clinician reviews it. Treatment is prescribed only when it is clinically appropriate for you.
Who weight-loss medicines may be for
NIDDK's general criteria for adults: a BMI of 30 or greater, or 27 or greater with a weight-related health problem such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes. BMI measures your weight relative to your height. These criteria are a starting point, not a decision about you.
Your health history, other medicines and supplements, and any allergies also affect fit. NIDDK advises against use during pregnancy or when planning pregnancy, and does not recommend weight-loss medicines while breastfeeding.

Three forms of tirzepatide
Sequel lists compounded tirzepatide in three forms: an injection, an oral melt called TirzeMelt, and a nasal spray called Tirz. Each is a different route for taking tirzepatide.
What compounded means
Compounding generally means a licensed pharmacist or physician combines, mixes or alters a drug's ingredients to create a medication tailored to an individual patient. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, so FDA does not verify their safety, effectiveness or quality before marketing. FDA advises that compounded drugs be used only for patients whose medical needs cannot be met by an FDA-approved drug.

Who can start care with Sequel?
Sequel serves adults 18 and older in every state except Louisiana and Mississippi. Before you start, email questions to support@joinsequel.com.
What does care cost, and what is included?
Your plan price covers your clinical assessment, your medication, customer support from both AI and real people, and the Sequel platform. You'll see the total at checkout before you pay.
You can choose a one-, two- or three-month plan. With Auto-Refill on, you're billed each cycle until you turn it off in Billing. You can cancel future renewals any time; to avoid the next charge, cancel at least 72 hours before your next billing date. If you cancel, payments you've already made aren't refunded.
Does Sequel take insurance?
No. Sequel doesn't bill insurance, so you pay directly at checkout. You can submit the expense to your HSA or FSA yourself; whether you're reimbursed depends on your plan.
Are the injection, oral melt and nasal spray interchangeable?
The Zepbound evidence does not establish that. It covers the branded injection only. A shared ingredient name does not show that a compounded injection, oral melt or nasal spray is interchangeable with it, or that absorption, dosing or outcomes match.
How long would I take a weight-loss medicine, and what are the risks?
It depends on whether the medicine helps you lose weight and keep it off without serious side effects. NIDDK notes that when it does, some people stay on it indefinitely.
